Suggesting A Stochastic Measurement Tool for Determining Crime and Safety Indexes: Evidence from Turkey

Crime is a phenomenon that disrupts the welfare and structure of society has become an important problem in both developed developing countries. In recent years, parallel with increasing rate urbanization all over world, there been also serious increase crime rates. With rates, fear emerged individuals who are part society. Fear degree anxiety individual feels about deterioration social structure. This expressed by safety indices today. this study, new measurement tool proposed order to eliminate effects such as emotional preference, decision-making difficulty, etc. For purpose, Stochastic Multi-Criteria Acceptability Analysis-TRI (SMAA-TRI) method, which can be made interval dispersed values, probability theory reflected effect on decision analysis, utilized measure indices, determined online survey up now, because fact experts/participants had difficulties expressing their preferences clearly during evaluations.
